As far as food is concerned, I think there will be less production during the holiday season if it continues after the New Year.

Probably 60-70% of traffic comes from this. The rest are plastic resin pellets from Oldcastle and ADS.
There was a train yesterday to and from Napoleon and one today as I took pictures yesterday and saw today.
And the train on Christmas Eve, but they stopped at Napoléon on Christmas Day and returned on the 26th.

Pioneer is trying to put together a path and breath until local/state/federal funds come in MAJOR to rehabilitate this line... Without life like this this line has no chance of survival. Pioneer put a lot of clamps under the wheels and bought a raised tire 85# rail from INER, but as you can see in the pictures there is nothing under the rail to start showing... Remember, INER ran the 85# rail in Steuben County, but they put a lot of ties and a lot of ballast under that road. ND&W is doing enough to work with the income on the line... However, they are not building the line... Wabash has seen the writing on the wall for 40-50 years, but this line refuses to die. I hope Pioneer buys this line, because once it's discontinued, it won't come back. It's nice to see the trains go over the bridge and get right to the plant.

They can use it as is, and they don't need to improve it rather than keep it as it is. They need reliable service, and now they have it every week without fail.

A roundabout allows a locomotive to move in front of a car or train in reverse, or vice versa. This is useful at the end of a branch when a train needs to change direction or when changing cars. If you see a car in a factory on a spur that only has one end, the locomotive has to push the car into the spur. Otherwise, the car to be loaded/unloaded would be between the locomotive and the switch that connects the side to the rest of the train. On one side of the end it can be a view, which means that it diverges in front of the locomotive, or a rear, which means that it diverges behind the locomotive. The end or the side can be operated without any problem (provided the locomotive is pulling, not pushing, the train). Here are swatches on both sides of the run. By moving the car between the switches on one track and turning on the other side, the locomotive can push the car or train to its destination. Often, trains traveling from one line to another and back (often called a line) will all be changed later. Various points are reserved for the return journey, when at the end of the line all trains run close to the remaining points of the return journey. Other trains use one engine at each end of the train to avoid moving.

"Side" = has swags on both sides and can be used to store cars, move cars in const, allow two trains to pass through, sometimes cars are visible to customers without designated spurs, wrong rules, driving cars near railways.
"run around" = I've never heard this used to describe a course, I've heard crews given permission to "run along the _____" or "Do a run along the __________", but I've never heard of a course called a lap. Since my hometown is Fort Wayne, IN, this video resonated with me. He has a good post describing the end of the Great Wabash line east of Fort Wayne. The section east of Liberty Center, OH and Toledo became a railroad track. The 51-mile section between Woodburn, IN and Liberty Center, OH was purchased from Norfolk Southern in 1990 by the Indiana Hi-Rail Company to form the Maumee & Western Railroad Company (MAW). When Hi-Rail was liquidated in 1997, MAW bought the line. In December 2012, Pioneer Rail Corp. purchased the track and formed a company, Napoleon, Defiance & Western Railroad Company, to not only operate it, but to maintain it.
