The worker, known as TikTok user @iknowiknowiknow39, said the customer pulled out a gun because the worker told them she couldn't give them a bag of sausage. The recording began in the middle of the exchange, but the client's alleged weapon is not visible in the footage.

In the video, which is believed to have been shot in Colorado, the car window is splattered with what looks like candy or sweet and sour sauce, as if the customer threw their order through the window. The customer smiled at the employees and then appeared to throw something else out of the car window. Then he swung his middle finger at the workers.

The video had nearly 183,000 views and nearly 700 comments on TikTok as of Wednesday. Viewers called the client's behavior shameful and illegal.

"What about him? He shot a McDonald's worker? Like the car didn't catch the license plates when they stopped? Swearing at his sauce shoes," someone else commented.

"Keep calm while there's a gun pointed at you lol I thought I was eating I thought I was scared," said one viewer.

Another user commented: “I would have hit the panic button and the license wouldn't have caught the camera. Imprisonment for all of you in the car.”

Again, it's still unclear if a weapon was actually involved; one is not glaringly obvious in a viral video.

One user in the comments said it would qualify as a "criminal threat". According to a Colorado criminal defense attorney, endangerment is 'a criminal charge that arises when you 'knowingly' put someone in fear of imminent serious bodily harm.'' According to the release, the charge is upgraded from a misdemeanor to a felony for the use of a deadly weapon.
